Recently, RTL Nieuws highlighted the measures taken by the Municipality of Vijfheerenlanden to address the growing issue of cut-through traffic. As cut-through traffic between Vianen and Lexmond increased, not only did the quality of life decline, but the accessibility of emergency services was also put under pressure.<\/p>\n
In collaboration with Brickyard, the municipality implemented an innovative solution: ANPR cameras linked to advanced enforcement software. This technology enables effective enforcement of entry restrictions during peak hours. Thanks to Brickyard\u2019s camera enforcement system, operational since July 1, cut-through traffic has been significantly reduced. Drivers using these routes without a permit now risk fines.<\/p>\n
